About Me

I started teaching lessons in 2017, while still in High School, and was lucky to discover a passion at a young age. I began with teaching other homeschoolers in the area, and continued to teach throughout the Fort Wayne area while studying a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance at Purdue Fort Wayne. I have taught students from ages 5-17, as well as multiple adults, constantly looking for ways to improve how I teach. As a teacher, I always hope to establish a love of music in my students, allowing them a place to learn and grow in their musical journey.

I started studying piano at age 8, and was blessed to study primarily with Jolene Stewart, Christine Freeman, Dr. Jonathan Young, and Dr. Hamilton Tescarollo. I received my degree in Piano Performance in 2024, and continue to seek ways to improve my playing and teaching methods post grad. My time at PFW allowed me to discover a love of learning about Music History, and that I always hope to pass a little of that love on to my students. I have experience leading a praise team, playing at multiple churches, and have done professional accompaniment for multiple vocal and band students at Purdue Fort Wayne. I participated in the Gene Marcus Piano Camp and Festival as both a student and later on as a guest performer and practice coach. As a student, I participated in the Gene Marcus Piano Competition and Hoosier Auditions, and have been lucky enough to participate in many masterclasses over the years.
